Apogee USB ASIO Driver v. 2.0.9 Mac OS 9.x
This archive should be UnStuffed to reveal two files, "PGApogee" and "Apogee ASIO Driver". Drag the "PGApogee" file into the Extensions folder in the System Folder, and the "Apogee ASIO Driver" into the ASIO folder used by your recording application. (You can alternatively drag the "PGApogee" extension on top of the closed System Folder and let go: the Finder will automatically identify the file as an extension and ask to put it in the correct folder.) Then restart the computer. Previous version available here.

Windows 98SE note Under Windows 98SE: When installing the Mini-Me or Mini-DAC with the OS drivers, simply connect the Mini-Me or Mini-DAC to the USB port with the power on. Windows will detect the device and ask for drivers for the USB Device. When the dialog box comes up and asks What do you want Windows to do simply choose Search for the best driver for your device (recommended). It will find the INF file in windows for the USB composite device and will read the EPROM on the Mini-Me or Mini-DAC for the name of the device: Apogee Mini-Me or Mini-DAC. Click next and next again - this will happen twice - same thing on each dialog box. After the second dialog box the Win98SE CD will be needed to complete the install. Sometimes when you have installed a USB device already it won't ask you for the Win98 CD. It may want to overwrite some files in your system from the CD: this is OK. |
